Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 August 2026 · Contact: hello@ajwai.site

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Ajwai website and any beta access we grant to the Ajwai platform. By using either, you accept them. Customers on a paid plan receive full contractual terms at onboarding, which take precedence over this page.

2. Information on this site

This website describes Ajwai and its products. Content changes as the product develops. Product descriptions, roadmap items, and interface previews describe planned and in-development functionality; they are not a guarantee that a specific feature will ship, or ship on a particular date. Sample figures shown in interface previews are illustrative.

3. Predictions are decision support

Grades, shelf-life estimates, demand forecasts, and recommendations produced by the platform are decision-support outputs based on models and available data. They are not certifications of quality or safety. Commercial decisions taken on the basis of them remain the responsibility of the customer, and Ajwai gives no warranty as to the outcome of those decisions.

Ajwai is not a food safety certification service. It does not replace statutory food safety inspection, regulatory testing, or the food handling obligations that apply to operators in their jurisdiction.

4. Beta access

Beta access is granted at our discretion, may be limited in scope, and may be modified or withdrawn. Beta functionality may change or break without notice. We ask beta participants to report issues rather than rely on unreleased functionality for critical operations.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform: no attempting to gain unauthorised access, no reverse engineering of our models, no uploading of content you do not have the right to submit, and no use of the service to break the law.

6. Intellectual property

The Ajwai name, website, software, and models are our property. Data you submit remains yours. Nothing here transfers ownership of your operational data to us.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ajwai is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or platform, including lost profits or spoiled stock. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
